Property Description:
This land is located 6 miles (9.75 km) north and 2 miles (3.2 km) east of Harris. It is classed as J and G for crop insurance. The SE- 17-33-17-W3 is primarily sandy loam while the SW-17-33-11-W3 is classed as silty clay loam. Currently, there is approximately 100 acres of seeded forage. The balance can be seeded to cereals, oil seeds or pulses. 2023 crop was oats. The herbicide used last year (2023) was ‘Buctril M’. The forage acres could be seeded down to cereals if desired using today’s technology. This would give approximately 300 acres for grain production.

Terms and Conditions of the tender are as follows:
1. There will be no advertised asking price on the land.
2. Buyer’s offer will be itemized by legal description & any conditions of the offer must be clearly stated.
3. The highest, or any, offer will not necessarily be accepted.
4. In addition to the top offer for any individual parcel, consideration will be given to offers that provide the highest aggregate price for any combination of parcels.
5. Buyer must provide a cheque for a 5.0% deposit of the price being offered unless otherwise agreed. The cheque, made payable to Hammond Realty Trust, will only be deposited on successful bids.
6. Seller will be responsible for the property taxes on the property to 11:59 PM December 31, 2023.
7. Possession shall be upon full payment by June 1, 2024.
8. Any crop unharvested or stored on the land may be harvested and removed from the land according to The Agricultural Leaseholds Act
