This attractive 3 quarter package of pasture/hayland is located just east of Delaronde Lake near Big River, Saskatchewan.

These grain farmland parcels possess a productive class 3 dark brown soil (Waitville and Swan Plain associations) with a loam to clay loam texture. The 324 acres of arable land is seeded to grass, the remaining 125 acres is native grass, aspen pasture and wetlands.

SW 30-56-6 W3 and NW 30-56-6 W3:
Currently used as a bison pasture, features 5 ft high 6-strand smooth wire perimeter fence and is cross-fenced into 5 paddocks.

Handling System:
The Bison handling system is comprised of a Hi Hog hydraulic squeeze plus 6 -7 foot hi hog pens with a combination of sliding and swing gates to sort groups of 30 bison into the squeeze. A series of gates allow a 5-way sort as animals go through the squeeze. Further out are 5 pens that can hold from 40 to 80 buffalo each. One additional pen/corridor leads from the main system to a feeding area attached to the corral system. This feeding area can hold 200 buffalo.
- Adjacent to the corrals are 2 x 150bu poly hopper bottom feed bins (Buffer Valley Industries) and a storage shed.

Watering system
- One dugout feeds 2 solar-powered watering bowls that are motion activated. This works year-round and is stored in a 8x8 shed.
- A 2nd dugout feeds a small generator/pump system within a 16x16 shed which fills 2 x 150-gallon tanks. This is used for animals held in corral system for sales, treatments, preg checking etc, and can be heated via propane in the winter.
- A 3rd dugout feeds 2 x 1000 gallon tanks which in turn feed a series of 7 x 700-gallon tanks spread over 4 of the 5 paddocks, ranging from 4 acres to 80 acres. The 5th field has access to 1 tank, but has ample natural water. This 3rd system run by a gas-powered water pump and 1-inch line is currently used only in the summer but could be modified for winter supply with minor additions.

SE 31-56-6 W3
